Panic stations for the Leicester Writers Club Garden Party on 23rd September.
So long as there are no frosts there will be colour galore but a single frost will wipe everything. I have no chrysanthemum and very little Michaelmas Daisy back up this year.
15th Got Chris to strim off paths and lemon balm - not a cure for weeds but I hope the cosmetic effect will last for a week. The weather has been warm so far - please let it hold for a week and a day!

- Sow spring cabbage
- Plant Japanese onion sets
- Check runner bean stakes
- stake dahlias
- feed tomatoes and peppers
- Order tulips - have done this
