June 2005
In my garden June's star is Buff Beauty,a Pemberton Musk hybrid with a definite but delicate fragragance it grows into a bush with a spread of at least 8ft in all dimensions if planted in the open. I use it against the fence in my front garden where it acts more as a climber than a shrub. It has one glorious main flush but also produces sporadic blooms in Autumn.June 3rd.
Despite a cold start to the month (a slight frost at the beginning)the surfinias in pots and hanging tubs are doing well and I am harvesting my Tom Thumb lettuces.

I have left all the trays I haven'tmanaged to put out plus my pots outside the conservatory door. It looks as if I am running a nursery! My friend Carol has promised to come in and water them
