September Viewpoint

Great excitement in the road - badger has been seen. "Beware badger" notices have sprouted up on the lamp post and people's garden gates. I suspect the poor animal was spotted on its way to the park!

With all this animal fever going on I have started to use my camcorder in earnest and have taken clips of a robin shadowing Chris while he was digging, a squirrel gnawing at something large he had dug out of the lawn, and a large dove using my bird bath. Needless to say these will require much editing and more expertise on my part before I dare insert the clips in this diary.

The dahlias and argrimanthemums in September have compensated for that lack of colour in June and look set to go on until the frosts.
