Dry, windy, overcast, and, on occasions, quite cold. The roses did not like it. The brassicas are recovering only slowly from the attacks by fox.
Luckily the back garden is doing better.

Last year the slugs stripped down the tall red lobelias. This year I planted them in a pot in the pond and they have done well. Even my eldest son is impressed.

The tomatoes are beginning to come, the cut and come again lettuce, the peppers and the cucumbers.
